While Alta Lodge has been getting ready for summer season, it has been snowing all week! Over a foot feel at the fist of the week and seven more inches were reported this morning. Since Alta lift operations stopped during week days, skiers have been skinning up the hill and getting in lots of fresh, untracked powder. Cold temperatures will prevail for the rest of week which will keep the snow nice for weekend skiers.
Marc Guido from First Tracks Online posted some great photos from yesterday at Snowbird, which still has lift access seven days a week.
Alta lifts reopen on Friday for the weekend with Sunnyside and Collins. There are special pricing options for non-season pass holders. Pack a lunch or grab something on the hill.
