Just as you think spring is here with plenty of sunshine and the need for lots of sun screen, surprise! It’s winter again. Yes, that’s how it is in the mountains and we all know what they say about April showers except here it is “snow” showers. In the next day or two, Alta could receive 6-12 inches followed by a day of sunshine and then more snow. So for that spring skiing trip at Alta, be prepared for warm days and possible snow showers too.
April is also a good time for reduced pricing for lift tickets and specials like Kids’ Stay Free in April . We’re expecting more sunny days for our Spring Celebration and mountain picnics.
