Powder hungry Alta skiers were lined up waiting for the lifts to open following the series of snow storms that came to Little Cottonwood Canyon last weekend. Each day brought lots of fresh powder and the cycle continued into Monday. In the past week, Alta has received 41 inches of snow and now has settled snow depth of 65 inches. The buzz that was generated as a result of these storms was huge – lots of powder skiing face shots, a sweet video from altacamcom and numerous Facebook posts. We’re still smiling about all the new snow and enjoying skiing in the sunshine today.
