As you can see can from the photos, most of the snow has melted around Alta. The flow in Little Cottonwood Creek has slowed a lot from two weeks ago. Flowers are coming out and the mountainside is lush with vegetation. The summer road to Albion Basin has not opened as of today but it should be opening soon. Hikers have been on the trail to Cecret Lake and Cardiff Pass. Moose have been spotted along the Lower Rustler snow cat road. In other words, it is summer at Alta.
