It’s the tail end of August and fall is already showing colors in Little Cottonwood Canyon and on the hillsides above the Salt Lake Valley. Daytime temperatures at Alta range from 60-70 degrees, ideal for hiking. The free shuttle service from Albion Day Lodge to Albion Basin will continue to run through Labor Day Weekend. For weekday dining the Albion Grill is open from 10am – 7pm. Alta Lodge is open for lunch on Saturday from 11am – 2pm and on Sunday for brunch from 9:30am – 2pm.
September, especially Labor Day weekend, is great time to hit sales of ski great, clothing and to get your Alta Season Pass!
The best pricing on season passes is now until the end of September. Many Alta Lodge guests make several ski trips each season to Alta and quite a few purchase a season pass, which saves money and is more convenient. You might consider this option if you are one of our guests who stays with us frequently during ski seasom.
