Heavy snowfall is occurring at the moment at Alta and it should continue though the next 24 hours. The forecast for the Cottonwood Canyon is 16-28 inches–calling for some DEEP powder skiing! Yes, it is March and you can expect there will be more snow and more good skiing.
We have a busy time at Alta Lodge this March. Families are here for ski vacations and we have
women’s ski camps and performance ski camps during the week.
This week we expect snow throughout the week with clearing for the weekend and warmers temperatures. On Thursday, to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, Alta Community Enrichment is sponsoring St. Patty’s Day Bagpipes with James Moyar of Soggy Scots. James will play from 12-1pm at the bottom of the Collins Lift.
