February 29 closed out the month and although it was the second driest February on record, you wouldn’t have guessed it since we have a 84-inch base and lots of happy skiers.

Things are going to change. On March 7, we’ll be seeing a major shift in the weather patterns and more snow will be headed our way. It’s something that weather forecasters are seeing and another unusual source: a buoy off the coast of Kauai, HI.
