February has been full of sunny days, a few powder storms and overall fantastic skiing. Sunshine is also good for outdoor picnics and hanging around with your pals after the chairs have quit spinning and stopping in at the Sitzmark Bar.
Think about this: during the month of March, 90 inches is the average snowfall at Alta. The base at Alta is now 85 inches and we’re expecting things to fill in even more as snowy March begins. And Daylight Saving Time begins March 13. March first is next Tuesday and plenty of skiing is still in store.
