It’s been a busy President’s Day vacation week at Alta Lodge and guests have been reporting great ski conditions during afternoon tea. From staff reports, yesterday’s skiing was “free refills” pretty much all afternoon, keeping skiers happy each time they got off the lift.
This week our local newspaper, The Salt Lake Tribune, featured Alta’s Wildcat Lift as the Ski Lift of the Week. Still a two-seater, the chair provides access to runs that are often overlooked on a powder day as skiers stick to the quicker and higher elevation Collins lift.
This season, we scheduled two Women’s Ski Camps and both of the them sold out quickly. In response to demand, we have added a third one–March 16-20–just in time for spring skiing. If this is something you have wanted to do, sign up soon as we expect this camp to sell out too.
We’re glad to see the days are getting longer and in another month, spring will be here!
