| It’s getting deep outside Alta Lodge. |
If you have been waiting for powder skiing, this is the weekend you should be skiing at Alta! It’s been snowing since Wednesday and since 8 am today, Alta has received 10 inches of snow and it is still snowing hard. Another 12-20 inches could come our way before the end of the weekend. Today at lunch time I spoke with a dining room staff person who has the day to ski and he said it is probably his best day ever with snow the feeling bottomless. The great news for Alta Lodge fans is that we have openings this weekend and next weekend if you are ready for your powder fix.
Before the storm, a friend of ours was skiing the backcountry and shot some video January 6-8…it was skiing beautifully!
