We’ve had beautiful weather the past two weekends and the snow is almost gone on Mt. Superior.Lush green vegetation is replacing the snow and the aspen trees have their foliage. Volunteers last week took part in the annual canyon clean up along both sides of the canyon road–thank you volunteers for helping to keep the canyon beautiful.
The 27th annual Writers at Work conference was at the Lodge last week and weekend for the second year in a row. Open to the public, the conference brings in writers and publishers for four days. As we wait for additional snow melt to be able to hike the higher elevation trails in Little Cottonwood Canyon, Millcreek Canyon has been a good option. Some wildflowers are already out along the Millcreek trails.
