This holiday season brought in a mixture of good conditions for skiers who were at Alta over the holidays. There were nice hard packed conditions, some fresh snow and the sunshine was abundant. The snow depth continues to build with Alta now reporting a base depth of 53 inches. There’s a chance of new snow mid-week.

We in the UK have had a really cold snap and with plenty of snow, I dont think it was quite 53 inches, looks great in Alta.
