News update for April

Here's some good news for April skiers. If you stay at Alta Lodge during beginning April 1, an Alta/Snowbird lift ticket is the same price as an Alta ticket. For $64 you can ski both ski areas--a savings of $24 a day!

We'll be open for guests this season until April 24, providing special activities during our Spring Celebration. If you have never experienced an Alta Lodge mountain picnic, you're in for a treat. This was one of Bill Levitt's preferred spring skiing experiences. Last spring we brought back the spring picnic and decided to make it an annual event. We hope you can join us--it's a lot of fun.

Tuesday, March 1, 2011

Yes indeed, it is March 1 and today Alta has a 149-inch base. We received 115 inches of snow in February, according to Alta's snowfall history. With all of the snow on the ground and more to come, spring skiing this season is going to be extended: Alta will open another two months!

Some things to keep in mind: Kids' Free from April 3 - 24, 2011

Spring Celebration March 26 - April 24 -- lots of fun free things being offered to Alta Lodge guests.

Daylight saving time begins on March 13 meaning lots of longer sunny days (with powder days too).
