Deep Devotion Abundant snow and legendary terrain have earned Alta, Utah, more than a cult following. Alta-worship is its own religion, whose pilgrims return year after year to hole up between ski days in one of the resort’s five distinct and delightfully quirky lodges — sometimes for months at a stretch. http://http://www.skinet.com/skinet/travel/article/0,26908,1674669,00.html
The fall weather has been fantastic this past week but will slowly be coming to a close next week during the final days of October. Alta has seen its share of powder skiing, especially last Sunday when the parking lot was nearly full and the sun was shining. It won't be long before winter is here full time; cooler temperatures are forecasted next week.
